So… I know the “welcome to the Green Barn” posts are typically reserved for the ponies who call our barn home – BUT… we have a new member of the family that needs an introduction!!
Although he isn’t a “horse,” he is quite full of “horsepower.” LOL!!

(…and thanks to Elizabeth for the oh-so-fitting name!! He looks like an Elmer, doesn’t he?)
Elmer is a 1977 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT pickup… a classic, with a 460 big block engine!! My daddy would be so proud!
Every farm girl needs a big ‘ole farm TRUCK with rust on the roof!!!!! I asked the man I bought the truck from if it could pull a trailer… his answer: “honey, this truck could pull a HOUSE!” Oh, OK!! :) I kind of always knew this day would come… it feels so natural :)
